Summer 2007

1a. Why?
Cause the Doctor Who thread at the Sugar Quill was always busy, and I wanted to know what the big fuss was all about.

Rose

3. Which episodes have you seen?
All of New Who through “The Next Doctor.” I’m working my way through Classic Who; so far I’ve seen 1 Hartnell, 8 Pertwee, 9 Baker, 3 Davison, 2 McCoy, and the TVM.

New Series - The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances, Army of Ghosts/Doomsday, Human Nature/Family of Blood, Blink, Turn Left, Midnight
Classic Series - Inferno, The Sea Davils, The Time Warrior, City of Death, Castrovalva

4. Are your friends/family interested in the show?
My brother watches, but the rest of my family are averse to Sci-Fi. I’ve also gotten a few friends hooked.

5. Which Doctor is your favourite?
Ten and Three

6. Which Doctor is your least favourite?
So far, One, but I’ve only seen one of his serials. And I haven’t seen Two or Six at all. It’s not really a fair comparison.

Donna, Rose, and Romana.

I dunno. Adric, I guess? He’s just boring. And wears strange pajamas.

Yes, I discovered this fall that they make good listening on the train.

“The Boy That Time Forgot” <3 Five and Nyssa. I really liked the supporting cast in it, too.

Torchwood is cracky fun, but objectively, Sarah Jane Adventures is the better show. Also, it has CLYDE!

Nope. I’ve hardly had time to read it, let alone write.

I’ve only seen “Time Crash,” but it was pretty fun.

Of course not! (Yes... Blackpool, Life on Mars, and Secret Diary. I'd actually seen Billie in The Ruby in the Smoke before I saw DW or knew who she was.)

15. What do you think of The Curse of Fatal Death?
I thought it brought the lulz. Moffat is such a dork. Also, I would personally love Hugh Grant as the Doctor. (If we still can't get Tony Head for Twelve.)

16. Do you have any fannish opinions that you think are fairly unpopular?
Everything’s unpopular in some segment of fandom! Does the fact that I enjoy the new series and ship Doctor/Rose, but also enjoy the classic series and Big Finish count? Cause according to fandom stereotypes, I don’t exist.

17. What's your favourite pairing?
Doctor/Rose, Doctor/Romana

18. What pairing(s) won't you touch with a really long pole?
RPF. Doctor/Jenny. Doctor/Susan (does that even exist?) Otherwise, I’ll give lots of things a chance, and I’ve found some cool stuff that way. (Donna/Brigadier FTW!) There are some ships I choose not to read because they just don’t work for me.
