I love Hulu! I think perhaps I've said that before.

My sister and I used to watch quite a bit of Doogie Hoswer, M.D. back in the day. It was one of her favorite shows. I only watched it cause she did, I swear. Oh, Neil Patrick Harris. I really must get around to watching How I Met Your Mother one of these days.

I can't watch it because I'm in Canada. Sad. Who didn't like Doogie Howser???

You do have to watch HIMYM. Especially for the episodes where they pay homage to Doogie.

I agree. HIMYM is great! I'm so glad [livejournal.com profile] carrotgirl and my roommate Gabrielle turned me on to it.

Yeah, I've been hearing good things about it from all directions lately, so I'm finally caving to the pressure. Plus, I'm all caught up on Bones, so I need a new TV project.

The whole blocking things in other countries is so stingy! TV networks need to learn how to share.

I moved it to the top of my Netflix queue, so I'll get the first DVD in a couple days. :D

And you've seen Dr. Horrible Sing along Blog too right??? Because if you haven't, move that one to the top too. Especially now that it's out on DVD and is less than an hour long.

I've seen most of it. I think I'm cursed, cause every time I try to watch I get interrupted!! But it's online for free in US, so no worries.

Yeah, I watched it for free too. I just couldn't watch it on the actual site, I had to watch it on veoh.

I can't watch the clip but just to join in the NPH love (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=rLRny08CkPM)...

I never watch Doogie Howser, but I just got a copy of the first season on DVD! (late Christmas present) I'm going to save it for when my crazy term is over.

The diary entries are just classic! I hope you enjoy your introduction to the wonderful world of Doogie.

It's a shame TV websites are always blocked internationally. People just procure things other ways anyway, and then they miss the chance to show you silly 30 second ads. (On Hulu you can actually rate the commercials!)

s;lkdjflksdjf; I purposefully recorded SNL so I could watch NPH and was DYING during that sketch. It's so cool he's broken out of his Doogie role. (Which I totally watched every week when it was on.... he was like a precursor to Carrie on Sex in the City with his computer diary...!)

I didn't know he was going to be on until after. I don't watch much TV when it's actually on, so I'm no longer in the habit of noting what's coming up. (Although I do know that BSG is tonight, and I'm hoping they get it up on Hulu quickly so I don't have to DL!)

I don't really remember much of what he did between Doogie and Harold and Kumar. Now there's an interesting way to get back in the public eye in a big way... just be a campy caricature of yourself! I think it'd great that he can still have fun with Doogie instead of pretending it never happened, like some would. Much more amusing that way. :)

This makes me think of William Shatner. :P Also willing to poke fun at himself and going through a renaissance in his career.
