Many people on my flist and in the fandom at large seem displeased with the finale for one reason or another. And though “Journey’s End” wasn’t without flaws, I really couldn’t see them past all the fantastic things going on the rest of the time. Because I think it was utterly brilliant. (Several sentences in and I’m already abusing adverbs like whoa. Next up adjectives.) It was chaotic, dark, tense, funny, triumphant, cracky, and tragic, yet still hopeful.
Okay, I’m done mucking about with modifiers. It’s time for the spoilers. I apologize in advance for my verbosity. ( Ah, universe’s been waiting for me! )
