And today, in the spirit of randomness, my answers to a set of questions from [livejournal.com profile] isiscaughey

Comment to this post, and I will list seven things I want you to talk about. They might make sense or they might be totally random. Then post that list, with your commentary, to your journal. Other people can get lists from you, and the meme merrily perpetuates itself.

HOORAY EXCUSE FOR DONNA PICS! :D

Sadly, I could never be as awesome as she is. So anyway, today I got dressed up in some real person clothes (nice trousers and not tennis shoes!) and went to work with my aunt for the day. They needed somebody to do lots of data entry, so I spent the day looking up addresses and putting them in Excel. Très exciting, I know, but hey, it's work. And if I ever need the address for the EPA or the Department of the Interior, I'm set!

For the record, I type significantly slower than 100 words per minutes, but I do a mean Google search. (Thank you, Chuck Tony! Only he would probably call the search "quick and dirty.") Also, for the record, most US government websites are ridiculously opaque.

We took the Metro into the city, and now that I have my fancy pants Smartrip card (see how clever it is? two words that share a "t"!) I feel like I'm in the cool kids club. I can just scan my little pass while all the tourists fumble with their farecards. Yeah, it's the little things in life. :)
Many people on my flist and in the fandom at large seem displeased with the finale for one reason or another. And though “Journey’s End” wasn’t without flaws, I really couldn’t see them past all the fantastic things going on the rest of the time. Because I think it was utterly brilliant. (Several sentences in and I’m already abusing adverbs like whoa. Next up adjectives.) It was chaotic, dark, tense, funny, triumphant, cracky, and tragic, yet still hopeful.

Okay, I’m done mucking about with modifiers. It’s time for the spoilers. I apologize in advance for my verbosity. Ah, universe’s been waiting for me! )
I have watched this episode way too many times. Seriously, it’s like a disease. I have, at least, stopped freaking out. This was just supposed to be a more sane review, but somehow morphed into a picspam.

I have only one thing to say to you. BYE! )
RTD hit another one out of the park this week! Let’s hope this keeps up for the remainder of the season. :D As always, spoilers under the cut.

She said the stars are going out. )

Since I've made many more icons than the 35 I'm actually allowed to use, I've decided to post them so that other's can enjoy. I think this is everything I've done for Series 4 thus far. I have no idea how or why "The Fires of Pompeii" got left out. Enjoy! :D

35 Doctor Who Icons
Mostly textless. Episodes 4x01, 4x03-4x06.

More under the cut. )
First, although I'm working my way through some Classic Who, I'd yet to meet either UNIT or the Sontarans prior to this episode, so I really can't compare any of that. Second, wooooo!! Fantastic episode!

In which I ramble incessantly and fangirl Donna like it's my job. )
