I know, and EVE MYLES. Dear God, isn't she just adorable? I mean, she's SO GOOD as Maggie. I think she's actually my favourite female character (Arthur being my favourite male).
It's kind of sad that you've already been told what happens, because one of the joys of S1 was not knowing what would happen in the next one. It was a bit like HP or a comic book, that kind of "OMG, I NEED TO SEE THE NEXT EP!" quality. It's also really hard to get where the characters are going if you haven't seen where they started. God, that sounds cheesy, but you know what I mean, hopefully.
Merlin is good fun, yes. And slash!tastic. Seriously, even yours truly, who's a hetfangirl through and through, can see the slash between Merlin and Arthur. Doesn't help that they are both RIDICULOUSLY pretty. Especially Bradley Walsh. And I don't normally go for blond men. I don't. But he just... *guh* But I am also quite fond of the spiky relationship between Arthur & Morgana, so I haven't totally gone over to the dark side. ;)
